You can obtain a form D1 from the Post Office or if you prefer contact us and we will send them to you. You will also need two passport style photographs.

When Should I Apply For My Provisional Driving Licence?
You can apply a few weeks before your 17th birthday to give it time to be back for your birthday.

How Much is The Provisional Driving Licence?
It costs £34 if booked on-line from www.gov.uk/apply-first-provisional-driving-licence. This fee also includes the cost of the upgrade to a full driving licence when you have passed your test.

Do I Have to Pass The Theory Test Before I Start My Driving Lessons?
No. You can start driving lessons before passing the theory but you must pass your theory test before booking your practical test.

How Many Driving Lessons Will I Need?
It’s difficult to say because everyone is different, but we would encourage you to have as much private practice as possible which along with professional, quality instruction will enable you to reach your goal as soon as possible.

What Does The Theory Test Involve?
The theory test comprises a hazard perception test which is based on a series of video clips and also a set of 50 multiple choice questions. We can offer you full guidance through both parts of the test and also advise you on all relevant training materials.
